There are different marketing strategies that are to be taken into consideration but here are some tips on how to expand your market at the comfort of your own home.

Internet is a big help to small and medium enterprises. An access to the whole world is one advantage of businessmen in this era. Compared to traditional businesses established during the 50s, 60s or even 90s, our generation today has the capacity to reach every continent in this world. Entrepreneurs’ anthem “Para sa mga Bossing” features rock icons Rico Blanco, Arnel Pineda

FILIPINO ENTREPRENEURS NOW have their own theme song thanks to the collaboration of Pinoy music legends Rico Blanco and Arnel Pineda. The song, “Para sa mga Bossing” serves as an anthem for entrepreneurs and would-be entrepreneurs—it’s a call for them to continue striving for success, to gather courage and to take control of their destiny. The anthem has been recorded and released, giving voice to the aspirations and accomplishments of Filipino SMEs (small-to-medium scale entrepreneurs).

“PLDT-SME Nation is happy that our vision for Filipino entrepreneurs is being shared so enthusiastically, and with such dedication, by Rico Blanco and Arnel Pineda. Both Rico and Arnel are committed to using their incredible talents in the service of Filipinos. The “Para sa mga Bossing” anthem goes: “Ang asenso maaabot/Sa bagsik nitong prinsipyo/Ang talino’t pagsisikap/Ibubuhos sa negosyo/Bossing ako/Aking tagumpay/Sa ‘kin nakasalalay…”

“The difference between success and failure is really attitude. Filipinos need to become more hopeful and more optimistic; to dream big and make that dream come true. In “Bossing” we are sending out the message that by becoming entrepreneurs, Filipinos can rise above poverty or any other obstacle. By becoming entrepreneurs, they can be the boss of their business and of their destiny,” says Rico.

International rock singer Arnel Pineda, who is now the vocalist of world superband Journey, also says the recording of “Para sa mga Bossing” is very meaningful for him: it reminds him of his own struggles to succeed despite tremendous odds.

“There was I time when I was broke and living on the streets—but I struggled to change for the better. You have to think of yourself as in control, you have to have the attitude of a boss, a bossing, so you can succeed. I know what it’s like to start from the very bottom. To rise above your circumstances, you have to keep hoping, keep striving and have the guts to fulfill your dreams and ambitions,” adds Arnel.

An overview of Yehey Philippines: Your online hands to success

The Internet has been available since the 1950s but it was initially made to share private documents in the US goverment. As years pass by, people had the chance to explore this new world. Emails has been offered, websites have been developed and continuously being designed and upgrade to higher computer languages. As for a student, the Internet has been their tool for researching online without going to the library and browse through mountains of books in every shelf.

I'm just so lucky to have experienced the what I call "researching boundaries." I got to the point where researching in the library is still practiced as the Internet is slowly conquering schools by providing online researches and encyclopedias. When I was in high school, way back year 2000, I am usually found at the library. I read a lot of books and consult encyclopedias for my assignments and all the traditional way of researching. I signed up for a Yahoo email account and usually consults Yahoo.com for all the online things I need until I stumbled upon the what I call before as the Pinoy version of Yahoo. It was Yehey.com.

As I finished my marketing degree during college, I never imagined myself to be working at Yehey Corporation. A breakthrough in E-commerce and Online stores: Smilds.com

I've been invited to Smilds Connect event at the Bahia Rooftop, Intercontinental Hotel last January 19, 2010. I was invited not 100% as a blogger but as an online seller. I've been selling online since 2008 in ebay, sulit.com and in Multiply. I started selling Korean clothes since I noticed that Filipinos are so into the Korean fashion, mostly because of Korean novelas here and there. I started my own clothing line last January of 2008 and sold it online only at the last quarter of 2009.

As an online seller one of my major problems was gaining new customers trust in "online shopping" itself. Since most of my online clients are Filipinos, they are hesitant in buying products online because some are fraud sellers. They get the money from you but you get no product. On the seller's side, I'm afraid of bogus buyers especially when I was selling imported stuffs. They reserve too many products or the most expensive ones, you get the product/s to your supplier but you get no payment. The item got stuck on you, you pay your supplier and you increase your inventory handling cost.

Retailing is an industry that is growing and growing each year. People nowadays are engaging more in retailing from online selling to the typical direct selling strategies. Sun Website's Easy Postpaid Starter Plan

I've been a Sun subscriber since 2004. I've seen their service improve over time. I'm a Smart subscriber to Globe subscriber but have always been using Sun as my secondary number. I find it very practical for me as a student before and for a professional me right now. I was a SmartBro user but now, again, has shifted to Sun broadband because of its faster mbps compared to its competitors.

I was buying my prepaid unlimited internet load at the Sun Shop in SM Megamall when I saw this flyer that made me pick it up. It was an Easy Postpaid application. I browsed at the brochure and I find it interesting that you'll find no hassle with their easy application. Now that's an advantage for a fresh graduate and a new employee like me! They call this the Sun Easy Postpaid Starter Plan.

Retailers should give a lot of time determining their retailing mix. Retailing mix can help a lot in having a profitable business with good customer relationship with repeat business transactions. Retailing mix are the elements used by retailers to satisfy their customers' needs and wants. The more effort exerted to satisfy customers' expectation in your retail store, the more customers you will have because of word-of-mouth advertisement.
